Brandon O’Brien Greene, 21, of Cordova, passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2016. The family will gather to receive friends on Thursday, May 26, between 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Hope Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road in Cordova. The Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, also at Hope Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery. Brandon was a kind and loving young man and had the heart of a healer. He was a devoted member of Hope Church, where he was actively involved in the worship team, serving in both the audio/visual and children’s puppet ministries. Brandon was a student at the University of Memphis, and he had the desire and passion to become a physician. He had an infectious sense of humor, a laugh you will never forget, a smile that would melt your heart, a gentle yet rambunctious spirit. He enjoyed reading, working out, fishing, traveling the world, gaming online with his friends, and spending special time with his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Siegfried and Liliane Jahnke, and Patricia Greene. Brandon is survived by his mother and step-father, Natascha and Patrick Zopf of Berlin, Germany; his father, Glenn Greene of Cordova; his sister, Laura Isabella Zopf of Berlin; his grandparents, Charles and Dottie Greene of Cordova; his loving aunts and uncles, Mack and Diane Greene, Marsha and David Klimetz, and Kathy Weyandt; along with many other loving family members in both the the U.S. and Germany.
