Rosary Anne Lofaso Guidry

Rosary Lofaso Guidry of Bedford, Texas, peacefully passed into eternal life on Wed., Dec. 18, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Rosary was born on Nov. 10, 1944 in Houma, LA to Frank and Hilda Lofaso.

Rosary attended St. Francis Elementary and Terrebonne High School in Houma where she grew up. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she studied Math and was a member of Phi Mu sorority. She was an avid swimmer and lifeguard and enjoyed playing the piano.

On June 11, 1966, she married her college sweetheart, Berton Francis Guidry. Together, they raised four children, lived in several states across America and traveled the world together.

Her contagious laugh and strong faith were appreciated by all who knew her. Her home was always open. The kitchen was typically filled with homemade lasagna, gumbo, or jambalaya. And the living room was often filled with canvas and paint brushes.

The family would like to thank Bishop Michael Olson for giving her the apostolic blessing just 15 minutes prior to her passing.

She is survived by her husband Berton Guidry, her four children Kimberly Guidry Speirs and her son Michael Speirs, Berton Guidry, Jr. (Frankie), Bryan Guidry, his wife Theresa Savoie Guidry and their four children Acadia Guidry, Jeanette Guidry, Philip Guidry and Luke Guidry, and Anne Guidry Bremer, her husband Thomas Bremer and their children Joey Bremer, Hannah Bremer, Gianna Bremer and Joey’s wife Monnica Prudlo Bremer, and great-grandchild Benedict Bremer.

Family Visitation for Rosary will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.

Public Visitation will occur Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.

Rosary Service will occur Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.

A Funeral Mass will occur Monday, December 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 3713 Harwood Rd, Bedford, TX 76021

A Reception will occur Monday, December 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Michael's Catholic

A committal will occur Monday, December 30, 2024 from 1:30PM to 2:00 PM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
