Peggy Mae Miller

Peggy entered the presence of Christ on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on May 15, 1931, in the village of Lindsay, Oklahoma to William Alva “W.A” & May Angeline (Coffey) Spradlin. Peggy was the second of 12 children.

Peggy married John Henry Miller on June 25, 1949. John passed in October of 1991. Peggy loved, and so enjoyed, spending time and talking with, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and enjoyed and treasured each and every picture she received of them. She was known as MeMe (or NeNe) by all of her grandchildren and many others who came to know and love her later in life. In addition, Peggy loved dolls of all kinds and had a collection that easily numbered 300. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, watching Christian TV shows and loved reading her Bible, especially the book of John (whom she called my good friend John).

Peggy loved going to church and was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church in Euless, and then Word of Love Christian Center of Hurst, where she enjoyed serving as a greeter along with Michael. She will be missed by many who have cherished memories of times spent with her and being blessed by her presence.

Peggy has two daughters who survive her: Donna Owens and husband, Mike, and LaDonna Fayyazi and husband, Ben; one son: Michael James Miller, Jr.; and three children who predeceased her: Peggy Lee Jennings, John Henry Miller, Jr., and Michael James Miller, Sr. She had 12 grandchildren Cristy Pyle and husband, Scott, Donnese Osborne (her first grandchild and “Angel Baby”) and husband, Tim South, Joey Newman (deceased), Linda Miller, Johnny Miller (deceased), Jennifer Eastman, Kimberly Miller (deceased), Matthew Owens and wife, Anshu, Brendan Miller, Jonathan Owens and wife, Caitlin, Tiffany Miller, and Caleb Jennings and wife, Heidi, and many loving great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three brothers: Dean Spradlin and wife, Debbie, of Summerville, SC, Eddy Spradlin and wife, Barbara, of Folsom, CA, and Alton Spradlin, of Mustang, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends, and her precious dog and companion, Princess, whom she absolutely adored.

She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 42 years, John Henry Miller, Sr.; her beloved parents, W.A. & May Spradlin; 3 brothers, Bill, Reuben, Harold, and Wayne; 4 sisters, infants, Francis and Carolyn, Rubye Logan and Kathy Weaver.

A visitation for Peggy will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. A funeral will occur Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034 with Pastor Shirlene Moore and Mike Owens officiating. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.
