He did everything from selling Singer sewing machines door to door, operating a steakhouse and club, selling RVs, to being a professional pilot and aviation instructor. He also built his own airport and incorporated the town of Clark, TX.
Clark built cars including a Model T, a Model A and a kit car. As an active member of the Model T Club and Motorhome club, he traveled all over and enjoyed testing his cars.
A generous man, Clark once bought presents for all the children in the Lena Pope Children's home. He delivered them to the children with Santa Claus in his helicopter.
Clark is preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Clark; daughters, Jana Neagle and Lana Clark; granddaughter, Angie Curlee; and great-grandson Bryan Curlee.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Clark; children, Jerri Moberly, Tracie Detwiler (George) and Scott Line (Shannon); son in law, Wayne Neagle; grandchildren, Erin DuToit (Paul), Alyson Goodman (James), Kyle Johnson (Angela); great-grandchildren, Trevor McBee, Evan Johnson, Hunter Curlee and many other loving family and friends.
