Krista Renee Love

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on July 2, 1963, Krista was the daughter of Fred and Judy Jones. She was raised with her older brother and two younger sisters, moving often between Texas and Oklahoma. Krista married her beloved Husband, Roy Eugene Love, in 1986. She gave birth to twin daughters, Whitney and Courtney, in 1988 and a Son, Ryan, in 1993. They raised their family in Grapevine, Texas.

Krista was a lifelong learner and a passionate ad vocate for education. She graduated from Norman High School in 1981 and later earned her degree from Dallas Baptist University. In 2001, she proudly obtained her Educator Certification, beginning a rewarding career as a teacher in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD), where she touched the lives of countless students for over a decade.

Krista was the heart and soul of her family, known for her unwavering support and Immeasurable love. She never missed a family event, whether as a band mom, soccer mom, or a dedicated MiMi for the past 6 years to her grandchildren. Always on the sidelines cheering enthusiastically, she was a constant presence at every family get-together, ensuring that each moment was filled with joy and togetherness. Creating traditions that will keep going in the years to come. Krista is known throughout her neighborhood for having a deep affection for her beloved Chihuahuas, who were not just pets but cherished members of her family. Her legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Krista’s memory will be forever treasured by her children, grandchildren, and the many friends and family whose lives she touched.

Krista is survived by her loving husband, Roy Love, and their three children, Whitney Love, Courtney Love, and Ryan Love. She was a proud grandmother to Paxton McEwen, Harper McEwen, and Sawyer Arsenault, who brought her endless joy. Krista is also survived by her devoted siblings, Marvin Jones, Sheila Ybarra, and Tawanna Irwin, along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss her warmth and presence. Her family was her greatest pride, and her love for them will continue to be felt for generations to come.

A visitation for Krista will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM. A committal service will occur Monday, November 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas.
