Kelly Caraway, 66, of Grapevine passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at a local Grapevine, TX hospital. He will always be remembered as a loving, father, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He was born in Lubbock, TX on July 17, 1951 to Doyle and Dorothy Caraway. He was a devoted son and father, always making sure that Mimi and Tina were taken care of. He was an avid lotto player, once winning $77,000. In his younger days he enjoyed spending his vacation time hunting in West Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Dorothy Caraway. Survivors include his daughter Tina Caraway of Grapevine, TX; sister Kay Leinard of Henderson, TX; nieces Sheree Garrison of Hallsville, TX and Shelley Jackson of Henderson, TX; aunt Melba Harris and a host of cousins and friends.
A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 5725 Colleyville, Blvd., Colleyville, TX. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home before the service. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
