Ms. Helen L. Higgs

Helen was born in Denton, Texas on March 11, 1943 to Roy & Christine Higgs.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Riding and her parents, Roy & Christine Higgs. Helen is survived by brothers; Bill Higgs (Judy) of Pittsburg,Texas; and Richard Higgs (Gloria) of Arlington, Texas; Sister, Elizabeth Wixsom of Terrell, Texas; Brothers, Terry Higgs of Hurst, Texas, Buddy Higgs (Pam) of Weatherford, Texas and many nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.

Helen loved caring for her parents before their passing. She worked many years in childcare at Little Scholars Private School in Grapevine, Texas. She was an avid reader and was happy anytime she has a book in her hand. She loved Mountain Dew, peanut butter, potato chips. Helen was fond of all animals, particularly her rescue dog, Millie.

Helen will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Helen will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.
