Donald H. Moon, of Fort Worth, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 1, 2016 after a short bout with lung cancer. Visitation: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. at Meadow Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Stevenson and Rev. Nathan Finch officiating, interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Donald was born on New Year’s Eve 1932 in Cooper Texas. He was a member of Meadow Creek Baptist Church in Bedford and The Veterans of Foreign Wars 4695. Don served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Bell Helicopter. Those preceding him in death are his parents, Hazel and Clifford Moon and daughter Deborah Joyce Waybright Waldrip. Those left to cherish Don’s memory are: loving wife of 43 years Joyce Moon; sons, Danny (Cathy) Moon, Tommy Moon, Steve (Sanora) Moon, David Waybright and Bobby Waybright; daughters, Peggy Moon, Donna (Barney) McKinney and Brenda (Lloyd) Rymer; brothers, Dudley (Betty) Moon and Bobby (Vickie) Moon; 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends.
