David William “Bill” DeMoss was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1936. He passed away from cancer peacefully at James L. West Community Hospice with his wife Florida and family by his side on August 29, 2020.
David or “Bill” as he was known to everyone, lived a very happy life and full of love surrounded with his wife, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He grew up in a farm in Fairmont, West Virginia and graduated from East Fairmont High School. He went to University of Tucson in College. He finished Bachelor of Science in Quality Engineering and Master of Science in Quality Management at Columbia Pacific University.
He enlisted in the US Navy in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1962. He became a Professor at Tarrant County College where he taught Engineering.
He also became a manager in Motorolla and Lockheed Martin Corp - General Dynamics.
David will be remembered best for his love of music, trains, his laugh, sense of humor and his ability to find good in everything. He is a very loving grandpa not only to his grandkids but to everyone.
David is survived by his wife Florida, sister in law, Norma Logronio, Nieces and Nephews: Tina and Pete Petracek, Emmie and Chris Vitug, Jeannie and John Kershner, Randy DeMoss, Eddie DeMoss Jr., Grand Children: Charles Vitug, Clark Vitug, Chester Vitug and many more nephews and nieces in West Virginia.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 3rd 3pm to 5pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with a reception to follow in the Bluebonnet Family Lounge. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.bluebonnethills.com.
