Visitation: Wednesday, August 9 from 5:00-7:00pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX.

Internment: Thursday, August 10 at 9:30am at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park.

Service: Thursday, August 10 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church of Hurst, 521 West Pipeline Road, Hurst, TX.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Hurst.

Bobbie Jo Hardwick was born on October 15, 1934, in Pilot Point, TX to Robert and Catherine Hardwick. The family moved to Fort Worth in 1941. Bobbie attended Polytechnic High School where she met her future husband and lifelong partner, Stanley B. (Stan) Roberts. Bobbie and Stanley married in 1952 and subsequently moved to Hurst, TX where they raised four children.

Bobbie would later go on to attend and graduate from Tarrant County College.

Bobbie was a member of FUMC Hurst, United Methodist Women, Christian Homebuilders Sunday School Class, and was a tireless volunteer for the Mission Central food pantry and Infant Formula program. She was also an avid bridge player, reader, movie lover and enjoyed traveling with Stan across the USA and Europe.

Bobbie is survived by her son David, daughter Deborah Neill and husband Eric, daughter Carol Ray, son Paul and wife Kira, grandson Kyle Neill and wife Rose, grandson Scott Neill and wife Lena, and great-grandchildren Nathan Neill and Natalie Neill.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Stanley Roberts, her brother W.E. Hardwick, and parents Robert and Catherine Hardwick.
