Alvin, 78, was raised on a farm in Grover CO. He and his wife of 53 years, Lynda, have been wonderfully blessed to raise four children and twelve grandchildren in the Keller area. For 50+ years, P.We. worked as a master welder and artisan, crafting custom projects-benches, fences, trailers and smokers-items so strongly built that they will outlast us all. Alvin served in the U.S. Army and “Unca Al” or “Big Al” served Keller BSA Troop 170 and the Longhorn Council for many years. He received the highest adult Scouting award, the Silver Beaver, in 1990. Al was an avid outdoorsman who found great happiness spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren, in his work, and by serving others. Al freely gave his expertise to anyone who needed his help. His life and easy going spirit touched everyone who knew him and his quiet laid back strength and integrity greatly served and comforted this world. Heaven rejoices as it gains a gentle silver bearded angel as he lays his soul to rest with the Lord.
Survivors: Alvin is survived by his wife Lynda, his four children, Clint, Shelley, Ginger and Heather and twelve grandchildren; two sisters and four brothers.
