Joshua Joseph Yezak, 29, of College Station went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Funeral Services will be on Friday, June 3 at 10 a.m. at Snook Brethren Church with Pastor Rudy Junek officiating. Interment will follow at the Snook Cemetery.
Josh grew up in Snook and graduated from Snook High School in 2000. He later attended Texas State Technical College and graduated in 2004. After graduation, he assisted in running a family owned business and most recently worked for Dynacon. Josh was a hardworking, dependable individual who always had a willingness to help others, without expecting anything in return. Always considerate of others, his soft spoken, teddy bear nature shined.
Having a Czech/Polish heritage, he had a love for poppy seed kolaches and Budweiser. But do not dare put on onion on his plate! Joshua loved to work on his truck and motorcycle and could fix just about anything! He was always most comfortable in his sleeveless shirt being outdoors, riding 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing or staring up at the stars.
Josh was an easy guy to love and loved deeply all those in his life. A person was changed forever when he came into their lives. He greeted all with a smile and firm handshake and could always make you laugh. He enjoyed having his beard braided and would often adorn a pretty pink bow for his niece. He was adored by all his nieces and nephews.
Josh will be deeply missed by all that knew him. This earth will never be the same, but heaven just got a whole lot better.
Joshua was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Denise Cox; maternal grandparents, Joe and Annie Holick; paternal grandparents, Reece and Josephine Phillip Yezak; aunts Gladys Odstricil Coplen & Joyce Holick; uncles Charles Odstricil, Alvin Coplen and James Holick and special extended family, Travis Janner.
