A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 18 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in College Station.
Christopher was born September 28, 1960 in New Haven, CT., the son of Lee Conrad and Hilda Close Northcliffe. He attended A&M Consolidated High School and later, received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from Texas A&M, Class of ’99. Christopher was a member of Unitarian Universalist Church of Brazos Valley, the Brazos Valley Progressives, a Texas Master Naturalist and volunteered many hours at the Brazos Valley Food Bank. He was a man of peace, kindness, intellect and creativity, with a gift of seeing beauty where others do not. His worldview was shaped by a deep spirituality, and his gentle nature and kindness toward others shined like a bright light in this oftentimes dark world. Christopher's light will not be extinguished by a senseless act. His legacy and spirit will continue to thrive in the lives of his family, friends and the many others fortunate enough to have known him.
Christopher is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother and sister-in-law, David Lee and Rosemarie Northcliffe.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Christy Claycamp Northcliffe; son Thomas Northcliffe; daughter, Emily Northcliffe all of College Station; aunt, Jeanne (Northcliffe) Hebeisen of Elgin, ILL.; and numerous other family and lifelong friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Houston and Southeast Texas 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77030 or charity of your choice.
