Aunt Rozella and Jamie we all send our deepest condolences and want you to know you had the Best of the Best they don’t make them like Uncle Bob anymore.My childhood has soo many memories of A OK rent a car and spending many days there I will never forget the one time one of the dogs had puppies and I fell in love and someone was going to take it home and Uncle Bob went running and told them my Fluffy Duke was already spoken for ❤️Thank you all for including us in soo many holidays and always taking care of my Mom she loved her baby brother soo much and I know they are both in heaven together with Jay and their Mom and one day we will all see each other again!!!Sending all our love to you all as you go through this difficult time

It was always such a special treat when the Floridians came up to Indiana for a visit.  I remember one time in particular at the Mount Saint Francis picnic when Uncle Bob gave me a break from stirring dumplings and took me to play pull tab bingo.  We got a $50 winner and we were both so excited.  He ended up giving me the winnings!

My love and condolences to the family.  Uncle Bob will be missed, but we will carry many great memories from our time with him.

There are so many great memories with your dad!!! But I will never forget pants on the ground, pants on the ground as he walked across the living room!

Hi Robert. We miss you so much. The one most incredible memory of you  is the decades of pain that you have been in with several different health issues and you never really complained and it never stopped you from doing the things you wanted to do. You loved the cruises all of us went on together, trips to Indiana, going to Disney, family dinners, all the Holidays with family, and when Rozella was in rehab for months, you stayed with her day and night. Your main focus was taking care of her. And the love and care you gave your daughter and granddaughter, how blessed they are to have had you in their lives. What an amazing man God created and He will say, “Well done my good and faithful servant”. No more pain for you Robert, that is a blessing but the emptiness we all feel will be forever till we see you again. We love you so much.

Sharing some funny memories and our last words to each other:
*I remember going to a lake in Indiana, dad was trying to waterski. Justin crank the engine on the boat, but it just didn’t have enough power to lift dad up. Needless to say dad didn’t get to waterski. 
*Dad and I went to an Elvis Impersonator concert at the King Center in Melbourne. I was able to make it up to the stage and sing along with other people. He was giving out scarves and I received one. He was intrigued how someone so young was singing along to the music. When I made it back to my seat, dad had a huge smile on his face. He said, “did you see how he was serenading you?” ☺️ oh yes I did. 
*More recent memory while I was on the phone with him, I was tending my vegetable garden. When we were saying our goodbyes I said ok talk to you later babe. Dad and I laughed so hard and we joked about it afterwards. 
*My last words to my daddy were, “I love you daddy”. His last words to me were, “I love you too!” 🥹

Robert was like family to me.He was such a sweet man and very giving.He will be very much missed.Rest in peace Robert.

I'm very proud to have known Bob since 1963 the world has lost an amazing human being going to miss all of our chats till we meet again. Love you pal R.I.P...Ian
