Rita G. Poston (Pegan) 83, originally of St. Martin, Ohio passed away Wedensday, June 15 at home in Cocoa, Florida. She moved to Cocoa in 1957 and was a retired Brevard County School employee. Preceding her in death were her husband, Don Poston and daughter, Debbie Durett (Tony).
Survivors include daughters, Donna Eaton (Doug) of Port St. John and Darlene Crosby (Pete) of Cocoa; sons, Donnie Poston (Annette) of Cocoa and Buddy Poston (Marisa) of Rockledge; sisters, Peggy Camp and Gracie Pegan of Ohio,; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grand-mother and aunt. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was loved and will be remembered by many.
Friends may visit Monday, June 20 at Brevard Memorial (Frontenac) from 4-6 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21 at Brevard Memorial at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Health First at Cape Canaveral Hospice Foundation.
