Patricia Ann Naylor, 84, our beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and her husband Larry on April 29, 2015. She was a 23 year breast cancer survivor, but had a recurrence in 2012 that eventually led to her passing.
Pat was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 12, 1930 to Tom and Alma Boylan. She married Larry Naylor in 1949. They moved to Titusville in 1956, moved to Mary Ester Florida for a few years, and then settled back in Titusville by 1960 and remained there for the rest of her life.
Pat had many careers in her lifetime, first as a stay at home mom with five children, then as a bookkeeper and finally a Tax Preparer and IRS Enrolled Agent for most of her career. She loved her job and her many clients. For many years she owned her own tax preparation business (Pat’s Tax Service in Titusville) and also worked for H&R Block up until 2013. She especially liked teaching tax classes and was always proud of mentoring new tax preparers.
Pat probably knew most of the people in Titusville! Pat was active in many community activities and her church, spending much time working at the Emma Parish Theatre and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She lived life to the fullest, traveling as much as possible, including a trip to Israel to see the Holy Land. She and Larry loved cruising and in most years they took several cruises to some tropical paradise. They both loved the beaches and spent most vacation times at a beach. They especially loved New Smyrna Beach and spent time there every summer for over 30 years.
Pat was loved by all that ever met her, and lived in joy and faith every day. She never let the stormy weather in life rain on her parade, bad situations were simply something you gave up to God and let Him handle for you. Pat accomplished many great things in her life, but her proudest accomplishment was her family, five children, twenty one grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren! She celebrated all of our accomplishments, both great and small. She was present for the birth of each of her grandchildren and for each of their graduations as well.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Tom, her brother Tom, and beloved husband of 53 years, Larry. Pat is survived by her brother, Mike Boylan, children; Teresa (Scott)Roop, Joe (Mary)Naylor, Tom (Beth)Naylor, Shay (Tom)Wolf, and Guy (Karen) Naylor, her lifelong friends; Carol Stephan and Essie Lucas, her grandchildren; Kassie, Libby, Erin, Joseph, Jared, Austin, Susan, Jacqui, Becca, Melissa, Zach, Matt, Kara, Thomas, Wyatt, Jennifer, Ryan, Josh, Tara L, Tara M, Nikki, and great grandchildren; Tristen, Nicholas, David, Corey, Sophia, Mariah, Sydney, Brandon, Katie, Samantha, Alex, Jackson, James, Layla, Jazmyn, Bella, Faith, Elijah, Audra and Lilly.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at 5:30 pm at the Faith City Church, 5195 South Washington Ave, Titusville, FL 32780.
