John Edwin Warnick, age 65, passed away on July 22, 2021. He was born on November 4, 1955 in Patuxent River, Maryland son of the late Donald Eugene and Virginia (Bowker) Warnick.
John moved to Florida as a teenager and later served in the United States Army for 9 years prior to his honorable discharge.
Prior to retirement he was employed by the United States Postal Service for 35 years serving all of them at the Cocoa branch. His true passion was watching his grandchildren play sports.
Preceded in death by his son Josh and sister Shirley Dove.
Survivors include his son James Warnick; 2 daughters Tiffany (John) Chetta and Sandra (Shery) Warnick; 2 brothers Donald (Karen) Warnick and Michael Warnick; 7 granchildren John Chetta, III, Kyla Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Clayton Warnick, Shaylee Warnick, Alexis Chetta and Zion Harvey and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 9:30 – 10:30 at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home with a service to follow at 10:30. Interment will be in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims.
