Fred G Hawes Jr.

A native of Huntington, West Virginia, Fred moved to Florida in 1968. He served in the United States Army before obtaining a bachelor's of science degree and worked as a Pharmacist for Eckerd Drugs until retiring.

Fred was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed collecting coins and model trains. He was a member of the masonic lodge.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marlene and son, Marc Hawes. He is survived by his second wife, Dreama of MS; son, Ron Hawes of FL; daughter, Marla Ball(Jerry) of FL; five grandchildren: Joey, Morgan(CJ), Meagan, Cassandra (JP), and Whitney; and 5 great-grandchildren: Brody, Isabella, Collin, Olivia, and Levi.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Hospice of St. Francis: Hospice of St. Francis, Inc. 1250-B Grumman Place, Titusville, Florida 32780

A visitation will be held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 12-1PM followed by the funeral service at 1PM. Military honors will be presented at the graveside at Brevard Memorial Park after services.
