died after a brief illness on
August 13, 2016 at Hospice House
in Rockledge, Florida.
Donald was born on June 29, 1930
in St. Augustine, Florida.
Lt. Col Masters enlisted in the
US Army at the age of 17 and
served with distinction for 22 years
as an Army Aviator, Instructor Pilot,
and Commanding Officer.
He was a loving family man,
respected and admired by all who
knew him. His faith in Christ was strong
and manifested itself in service
through his founding involvement
n the House of Hope Ministry.
Donald is survived by his wife of
20 years, Ina; daughters: Donna E.
Masters, Maria K. and husband
Allen Soper; son William P. Gilley
and stepsons Danny, Steven and
Jamie Dean; 16 grandchildren and
15 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday,
August 18, at 10:00am at First Baptist
of Merritt Island. Funeral services will
follow at 11:00. Donald will be laid to
rest on Friday, August 19, at 2:00pm
at San Lorenzo Cemetery in
St. Augustine, Florida.
