Carolyn was a very active member of her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. She loved playing tennis, being an involved member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church and spending time with her beloved family.
Carolyn was pre deceased by her husband of 53 years Shelton Strickland. She is survived by sister, Betty Wilmore, four children, Michael Strickland, Crista Strickland, Alan Strickland and wife Joy, and Gary Strickland. She was a beloved Grandmother of five grandchildren, Brian Buckless and wife Hilary, William Buckless, Lauren Melanson and husband Keith, Parker Strickland, and Emily Strickland, and great grandmother to Kylie Davis, Kenzie and Laila Melanson and Abigail Buckless.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North US Highway 1, Cocoa, Florida, followed by her funeral service.
