Victor married Laura Guel in Angleton, TX on March 25, 2023.

Victor worked for 17 years as a Pressure Vessels Fabricator Supervisor in the Welding and Fabrication Industry for Freeport Welding.

Victor loved to fish, he loved to dance, he was a great cook, and an outdoorsman. He enjoyed tailgating with his Battle Wagon Crew, he loved his friends and family, he enjoyed using his talents to help anyone who would ask, and he always loved to have a good time. His personality was as big as the world, and he had the shoulders to carry it. The old saying, he would give his shirt off his back, rang true with him. He didn’t know of many strangers because everyone he met became his friend. He graduated from Brazosport High School in 2006 and attended Brazosport College.

Victor is preceded in death by his Father, Victor Z. Martinez.

Victor is survived by his Wife Laura Guel Martinez; Stepson Ethan Melendez; Mother Maria Guadalupe Martinez; Sister Lizeth (Rene) Guel; Brothers Eric (Vanessa) Martinez, Giovanni Martinez, Nieces and Nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Eric Martinez, Giovanni Martinez, Luis Guevara, Rodolfo Martinez, Justin Arrants, Patrick Brown, Sergio Razo, Rene Guel, Gilbert Ybanez, Abraham Mohedano. Honorary pallbearers are Alex Guevara, Eduardo Guevara, and Joey Martinez .

A Gathering to Share Memories of Victor will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 W Plantation Dr, Clute, TX 77531. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the Life of Victor will be held at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 201 N Lazy Ln, Clute, TX 77531. Victor will be laid to rest at Restwood Cemetery in Clute, Texas.
