Ray Lopez

Ray Lopez (Reynaldo Alvaro Lopez, Jr.), 64 of Angleton, Texas passed away on November 20th, 2023 in Houston, Texas at MD Anderson Hospital from Acute Erythrocyte Leukemia. He was born August 7th, 1959, in Harlingen, Texas, to Ava Murray and Ray Lopez, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ava and Ray; brother Jody; and step-father AL.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paula, son Dorian Ray, and daughter Desiré; siblings Terry, David, Marcy, and Bubba; grandchildren Kyle, Kelsey, Riley; and great-granddaughter Cassi.

Ray was so many things to so many people. He was a son, brother, husband, dad, grandfather, uncle, and mentor. He was passionate about his career and the people he worked with along the way. His memory will live on in all of the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Arrangements by Restwood Funeral Home on November 26th. Visitation will be from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm and the Service will start at 12:30 pm. Monday, November 27th, a second service will be held Graveside at Conner Cemetery in Kennard, Texas at 1:30 pm.
