On December 26, 2018, Kay Woods Jones ended her journey on this earth at her home in Lake Jackson, Texas. She is at peace with the Lord and now is free of pain and suffering. Kay was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 24, 1936, the daughter of Charles D. Woods and Evelyn Conrad Woods.

She traveled all over the world with her husband, visiting over 63 countries and setting foot on every continent except Antarctica. One of her favorite trips was visiting all of the Christian sites in the Holy Land. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and infant daughter, Wendy.
