Jonathan Flores

Jon loved spending time with family and friends and had the most contagious laugh. He loved to talk, and his late-night phone calls will be missed by many. He liked anything to do with history, sports, Star Wars, Harry Potter (Gryffindor) and Game of Thrones. He was working for Huntsman while attending Brazosport College to pursue his education in Chemical Processing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Flores; Grandparents, Adan and Maria Ortiz, Geronimo Flores; Uncles, Refugio Contreras, Juan Reyes Ortiz and Pilar Ortiz and his Aunt Juanita Ortiz.

He is survived by his mother, Haydee Ortiz DeLaCruz and husband Gilberto of Clute; Grandparents, Elisa Flores and Dalia Flores, of La Grulla; Siblings, Joel Flores and wife Samantha, of Milano, Jacob Flores, of Clute, Jessica Lease and husband Ryan, of Lake Jackson, Gilbert Delacruz Jr, of Lake Jackson, Samantha Delacruz, of Lake Jackson, and Aracelie Delacruz and fiancé Tristan Ivy, of Clute. His Nephew Christian Lease and Nieces, Marisol Sierra and fiancé Antonio Medina, Chrystal Lease, Emma Lease, Arabella Flores, Angel Flores and Great Niece Analiyah Medina; his faithful companions Jack and Harry as well as numerous relatives and friends who loved him.

A Celebration of Jon’s life will take place at Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1038 West Plantation drive, Clute TX 77531. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 5pm to 8pm and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, starting at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting monetary donations so they can donate to Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Services in honor of Jonathan.
