Joan Marie Paquette of Clute, Texas was born September 4, 1946 in Utica, New York to Marie (Tomczyk) and Joseph Maciewicz and died August 6, 2013 in Galveston, Texas at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 2 days. Joan was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was of tha Catholic faith and worked many years for Dow Chemical Company. Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Edward Paquette on December 24, 2001 and a grandson. She is survived by her sons, David Paquette and his wife Sherry, Michael Paquette, Mark Paquette and his wife Jocelyn; brother, David Maciewicz and his wife Deborah; sisters, Lorraine Loftus and her husband Thomas, Elizabeth Maciewicz and 3 grandchildren. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family at 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Restwood Funeral Home. There will not be any services held. By her wishes, she and her husband will be placed, together, in a niche at Restwood Memorial Park, Clute, Texas.
