Harvey Louis Krejci Jr.

Harvey Louis Krejci, Jr., 74, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Harvey was born on January 3, 1950 in Moulton, Texas to the late Harvey and Marie Krejci.

Harvey was raised in Cuero, Texas. He attended Cuero High School and Southwest Texas State University. He married his beautiful wife Debbie of 48 years and they raised their family in Lake Jackson, Texas. Harvey worked for Dow Chemical as a chemical operator for 37 years and happily retired in 2012. Harvey’s (Pops’) passions included playing with and attending his seven grandchildren’s sporting events and band concerts, caring for his yard and plants, traveling with his wife to 35 states and numerous national parks, and detailing cars. He was most proud of his beautiful family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Debbie; children and their spouses, son Kevin Krejci and wife Melody, son Keith Krejci and wife Amanda, and daughter Kasey Atnip and husband Christopher; his seven grandchildren, Corbin Krejci (16), Brenley Krejci (10), Everley Krejci (8), Emily Krejci (16), Greyson Krejci (14), Owen Atnip (4), and Avery Atnip (6 months); and his sister Vivian Cliffe and husband Jim. He is preceded in death by his father Harvey Krejci, Sr. and mother Marie Motal Krejci.

A celebration of Harvey’s life will take place at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Lake Jackson, Texas at 10:30 AM on Saturday November 9, 2024.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons; Corbin Krejci, Greyson Krejci, and Owen Atnip; and his beloved Dow retiree group. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Stand Up to Cancer.
