David Blaine Marshall, 64, of Iowa Colony, TX passed away on October 16, 2020. David was born on May 28, 1956 in Joplin, MO, to the late Donald B. Marshall and is survived by his mother Shirley Marshall.
David's diverse career allowed him to experience living in multiple U.S. locations, including Beverly Hills, CA where meeting and spending time with celebrity clients transitioned into stories incorporated with his unique dry wit. His career was complete with the position of Vice President of Finance & CFO of Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX.
David loved the Green Bay Packers, Rod Stewart, the ocean and binge watching James Bond movies. However, his unending devotion to his wife and son was a reflection of his heart and character. David's constant love and overwhelming pride for his son Blaine was a highlight of his life, along with his wife Martha of 27 years. As a family, they lived through life creating memories which will never be forgotten. (even with the family dog 'George')
David never ceased to reach out with sincere happiness for others expressing joy for family marriages, births and events, to the point of self-declaring "favorite uncle" status. Although he is now with his earthly and heavenly father, his laughter, love and kindness will be forever in our hearts.
Our beloved David is survived by his mother, Shirley Marshall; wife, Martha Marshall; son, Blaine Marshall; Siblings, Steve Marshall (wife, Holly), Brian Marshall (wife, Lynn) and Brenda Green (husband, John), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
