Chester Raymond “Chuck” Rigall III, Caught his chariot January 14, 2003 at the age of 73. He was born in Beeville, Texas: August 2, 1939. He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a member and Altar Boy at the Corpus Christi Cathedral and attended the Incarnate Word Academy. He was a Boy Scout and loved to fish with his dad and little brother Johnny. At Roy Miller High School he played football and was on the debate team and also in theater while attending Del Mar College. He later moved to Freeport, Texas where he raised his children and worked as a union pipefitter until ten years ago when he retired. He then moved back to Corpus Christi and worked with his sister and nephew in the catering business. There, he enjoyed building Gingerbread Houses, cooking and playing Domino Football and chess with his brother Johnny, Otto and Bobby. During the last two years of his life he listened and watched mass with his mother Rose Mary and sister Cecelia. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Betty Rigall of Lake Jackson, Texas; his mother Rose Mary Chivers of Corpus Christi; sister Cecelia M. Cashion of Corpus Christi; brother Johnny W. Reuthinger and wife Judilynn of Corpus Christi; children, Hugh S. “Sandy” and wife Cindy Rigall of Corpus Christi; Jeffrey Scott Rigall and wife Debra of Dallas, Texas; Kimberly Kay Skinner and husband Bill of Corpus Christi, Texas; F. Morey Mayhew and wife Candice of Lake Jackson, Texas; Evelyn Rose Clintsman of Chicago, Illinois; Sharron E. Martinez and husband Frank of Lake Jackson, Texas; Chester R. Rigall IV and wife Shelly of Lake Jackson, Texas; Connie R. Trevino of Lake Jackson, Texas; along with Twenty-Three Grand Children, two Great Grand Children and a host of relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Chester R. Rigall Jr. and step-mother Margaret; son, William Clinton Mayhew; previous wife, Cherry Lee Rigall; and sister, Elizabeth E. “Dolly” Yeary.
