Ron is survived by his two daughters Michelle Gibson and Melissa Browning; his two sons-in-law Kurt Gibson and Taylor Browning; his two precious grandchildren Parker and Hope Browning; his sisters Susan Fisher Schultz; Darline Serrano; Janice Gallinetti; and Patti Gimbal. He is also survived by his brother his brother Kevin Liles. He is predeceased by his parents, Ron and Helen Liles and his brother, Tim Liles.
Ron was born on June 24, 1955 in Calwa, CA. He met the love of his life in high school at the age of 17. On July 30, 1977 they wed and walked through life hand and hand, completely and simply happy. On February 8, 1980 & September 1, 1982 respectively, he welcomed his two daughters into the world. He never stopped protecting them. Ron retired early with his wife Patty to enjoy life and watch their grandbabies grow. He had a long fulfilling career in sales and in real estate but where you will find his legacy, is in the memories…in his relationships and friendships. That’s what life was about for Ron, people, experiences.
Ron enjoyed a good time any time. He knew every classic rock song, he loved a good concert, never passed up a stiff drink and made life fun. He loved taking his wife for a drive with no destination. He never forgot where he came from. He was proud of his daughters and even more proud of his granddaughters. He had a special relationship with each of his sons-in-law and he was extremely close with all of his siblings.
He will be deeply missed but always remembered by his family, friends and all that knew him.
There will be a private burial with a public Celebration of Life to follow.
A Celebration of Life service for Ronald will be held Friday, October 20, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Clovis Veterans' Memorial Hall - Independence Room, 808 Fourth Street, Clovis, California 93612.
