Patrick David Kraft

Patrick "Pat" was born on August 21, 1966, in Suffern, NY. He spent his childhood in Oakhurst, Ca. and graduated from Yosemite High School in 1984. He continued his education at California State University, Fresno where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Education Administration and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Pat, a CPA, was employed by Clovis Unified School District for the last 16 years where he advanced to Director of Budget and Finance. He dedicated his career to making sure Clovis Unified was the best it could be for students, employees and the community. Married 19 years, he was a devoted family man with three beautiful children and beloved pets. Pat was devoted to his faith and attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was known for his unshakable character, strong work ethic, integrity, financial acumen, and political conservatism. He was special in every way. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and was an avid sport enthusiast. Patrick passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012. Patrick is survived by his loving wife Amy; their children, Kaycee, James and Jarod "JT"; his mother, Marilou Kraft; his father, Dave Kraft and his wife Diane; his brother, Joe Kraft; his sister, Colleen Ham and her husband Jerry; and his nieces and nephews. Patrick is also survived by his mother-in-law, Cynthia McCulloch; aunt and uncle, Keith and Pennie Woods; and great-grandmothers, Mary Bull (95) and Marian Woods (99). Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass, with reception following, will be held at Holy Sprit Catholic Church on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to: "Patrick Kraft Scholarship Fund" at any Central Valley Community Bank for the continued education of his children.
