Mary Lou (Frost) Blythe was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 12, 1943. Surrounded by family at her side, our dear Heavenly Father took her home on November 7, 2024 at the age of 81.
Mary Lou (Frost) Blythe was born on May 12, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She moved to California at about the age of one, with her two loving and devoted brothers- Jack Frost and LK Frost. She became Mary Lou Blythe upon marrying Wilburn Blythe on October 31, 1960, the love of her life. She always said many times, up until her final days that he saved her. They just recently celebrated their 64 year anniversary. Will and Mary were blessed with 4 children, a son and 3 daughters. James (Corky) Blythe, Sharon (Blythe) Reese, Debra Blythe, Karen (Blythe) Tillery. Mary Lou was blessed with numerous grandkids, and great grandkids who cherished her. They were the light of her life.
Mary Lou was completely devoted to the Lord, her Husband Will, and her entire family. Her and Will pastored numerous churches for several years, just recently retiring in June 2024. Throughout her time upon this Earth she was praised and cherished by family and friends for her dedication and devotion. Her sweet spirit and love for God is what stood out, and this gift of hers touched so many lives, whether it be preparing home cooked meals for her friends and family, or helping to run a successful business, or to organizing church events and gatherings. She loved God, her family, friends, and life.
Mary Lou Blythe is survived by her husband Wilburn Blythe, son & wife James (Corky) and Kathy Blythe, daughter and husband Sharon and Ron Reese, daughter Debra Blythe, daughter and husband Karen and Scot Tillery: Grandkids: Melissa Blythe, Courtney Blythe, Vanessa and Mike Smith, Clifford and Shelley Burgoni, Julie and Mitch Ford, Amanda Williams, Lyndsey and Aiden Willamore and Cason Williams. Great Grandkids: Jacob Burgoni, Isaiah Blythe, Dylan Smith, Dakotah Massie, Tanner Massie, Reese Ford, and Josie Ford. Her Brother and Wife LK (Pete) and numerous other beloved relatives, nieces, nephews and church family.
A Celebration of Life for Mary Lou Blythe will be held:
