Joyce E. Putman, of Clovis, CA passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on September 8, 1929, in Fresno, California.
She was known for her miniature horse ranch, Ramblin Rose Ranch, located in the Central Valley where she bred, raised, and showed her miniature horses all over the United States. She was also known for her love of all horses, her dogs, and her beautiful roses. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Joyce's life was characterized by her devotion and love for her husband (Bill), son (Dale), family, and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, laugh, and elegant style. Joyce was a skilled seamstress and made most of her show clothes fashioned after magazine photos she admired.
Joyce, along with her husband, was a member of the Sierra Model A Ford Club in Clovis. She attended many local car shows with her 1964 ½ Ford Mustang that her husband had purchased and restored for her. She was a lifelong member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA), and Northern California Miniature Horse Club. (NORCAL).
Joyce is survived by her son, Dale Putman and wife Melissa, and two grandsons, Garrett Putman and Michael Duran. She is also survived by her constant companion, her dog Pardner.
A Private Celebration of Life for Joyce will be held at a later date with family.
