Timothy Scott Price, age 8, of Clinton Township, Michigan went to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born June 29, 2014 in Troy, Michigan to Scott Alan & Christina Joy (Smithers) Price.
Timmy was a delightfully happy little boy, with a quick, amazing smile that lit up the room. He courageously persevered through 2 years of varied treatments for neuroblastoma, an especially challenging childhood cancer. He always determinedly gave his best efforts, while rarely complaining. He blessed others by trying to see the positive aspects of hard situations. God truly gave him courage at such a tender age.
During one of his early treatments, Timmy was given a sloth stuffed animal, whom he affectionately named “Slothie.” Slothie is where Timmy's interest in sloths began, and from there, many more stuffed sloths joined the "family."
Timmy enjoyed playing games, building Legos, doing puzzles, and playing video games. He was a precious son, who loved to read with his mom and take "snuggle naps" with his dad. He was a wonderful brother, loving to play creatively with his siblings and connecting with each of them individually in special ways that will always be cherished. To say that he will be greatly missed is an incredible understatement.
To honor Timothy's memory, his family encourages everyone to purchase his favorite book "Little Pilgrim's Big Journey" and share it with your children and grandchildren. (To purchase: https://lithoskids.com/products/little-pilgrims-big-journey-part-i)
Timothy is survived by his parents, Scott & Christina; his siblings, Natalie Joy, Liberty Grace, Levi Christopher, Susanna Faith, Ethan Isaiah, Elaina Hope; his loving grandparents and great-grandparents; and many family members.
