He was the beloved husband of Shirley for 73 beautiful years. Together, they built a legacy of love, family, and dedication. He was the proud father of Laurice (Donald) Bulgarella, David (Peggy), Daniel (Laurie), Kenneth (Karen), and Lynn Schwab. Stuart’s family continued to grow, and he became the treasured grandfather of Gina (Pete) Smolenski, Michael (Lauren) Bulgarella, David Bulgarella, Kaitlynn Schwab, Emily Schwab, Jacob Schwab, and Jenna Schwab. Known lovingly as “Papa the Great,” he doted on his great-grandchildren: Michael, Nicholas, Alexandra, Anthony, Joseph, Gracelynn, and Stella.
Stuart was a man of many passions. He was an avid golfer who loved spending time on the course, finding peace and joy in the game. He delighted in family vacations, where laughter, stories, and togetherness filled his heart. A barbecue enthusiast, he was always ready to fire up the grill, creating meals that became the centerpiece of countless family gatherings.
Above all, Stuart will be remembered as a family man. His unwavering devotion to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was evident in everything he did. His warmth, kindness, and steadfast love created a foundation of strength for those who knew him.
Visitation for Stuart will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm on Friday. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens. Family and friends may visit the church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am.
