Robert Joseph Berger

Robert Joseph Berger, of Utica, passed away on February 4, 2019, at the age of 70. Beloved father of Robert (Anne) Hall, Jacqueline (Timothy) Martin, and Matthew (Sydney) Berger; proud grandpa of Olivia, Victoria, Sophia, Miranda, and McKenna and great-grandpa of Ethan; dear brother of Marcella (Raymond) DuJardin, and Dennis (Carol) Berger; uncle of Debra Daniels and Jacob Berger; great-uncle of Zach Daniels. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary; his brother Matthew Berger; and his parents Matthew and Mary Berger. Robert is also survived by his beloved extended family Kathy and Rachelle Odziana.

Robert proudly served his country with the Army during the Vietnam War, bravely earning two Purple Heart Medals.

The family will greet friends from 3:00pm-8:00pm with a 7:00pm Memory Share on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 9 at the above location. Interment with military honors following at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Twp.
