Raymond Anthony Schnurr

Adored husband of the late Gloria; beloved father of Michael (Janice) Schnurr and Gail Schnurr; loving grandpa of Brandon (Sarvy) and Jennifer; proud great-grandpa of Andrew, Mason, and Micah; dear brother of Virginia Alyea, the late Harold Schnurr, and the late Marge Peters. Raymond is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Raymond was born on June 17, 1924 in Detroit to the late Linus and Agnes Schnurr. He proudly served his country with the Navy and retired from General Motors after many years of loyal service as an engineer.

The family will greet friends from 3:00pm until 9:00pm with a 7:00pm Funeral Service with Naval Honors on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
