Michael G. Robins, age 74 of Berlin, Michigan, previously of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on October 25, 2023. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Barbara Robins; Adored father of Connie Johnson (Vic), Tim (Cari), Dave and Jessica Zarna (Chris Patroske); Loving grandfather of Joanne, Nick, Trisha, Nathan, Jonathan, Alex, Sofia, Vivian, Brendan, Burke, Ellie, Miranda, Anthony, Erica and Michael; Treasured great-grandfather of Rowan, Reese, Ethan and Willow.
Michael worked as a sheet metal worker and member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 80 for 54 years. He considered himself a “do-it-yourselfer” jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything. He loved Chevrolet Corvettes and attended many car shows over the years where he made friends with other car enthusiasts. Michael will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 2-8 PM with a memory sharing service at 7 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11 AM, with a brief visitation before the service starting at 10 AM, also at Resurrection Funeral Home. Final entombment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michael’s memory to an animal rescue/organization of donor’s choice.
