Kenneth Richard Weber died after a 14-month decline in his health in Clinton Township, MI at the Church of Christ Care Center on Thursday, December 13th at the age of 71. Ken is survived by siblings, Robert (Jeri) Clinton Township, MI, Sandra (Bill) Harrison Township, MI, Carl (Marie) Troy, MI. Nieces & Nephews Don (Mary), Erin, Kim (Jess), Jennifer, Paul, Great Nieces & Nephews Katie (Don & Mary), Evelyn, Arthur & Benjamin (Kim & Jess), Max & Nolan (Paul). He is preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Arthur Weber.
Ken was born on April 22nd, 1947 in Muncie, Indiana. After moving to Detroit, Ken worked for J.L. Hudsons in their restaurant for nearly 20 years. Ken lived with his parents until 2000 when he purchased and lived in a condominium in Roseville, Michigan until October of 2017.
Ken was accomplished at interacting with people and often would strike up friendly conversations with total strangers. He enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, taking trips and decorating his Condo at holidays. Ken was an active and dedicated member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church and volunteered as an usher for many years.
Visitation will be at Kaul Funeral Home located at 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Friday, December 21st, from 5-9pm, with Rosary at 7pm.
A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, December 22nd at 12:30pm at St. Ronald Catholic Church located at 17701 15 Mile Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A funeral procession to Resurrection Cemetery at 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 will follow the funeral mass. A reception will follow immediately after the burial at Fern Hill Country Club located at 17600 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Fr. Hermann will officiate the ceremony.
