Ken was a sports fanatic, with a profound love for football, baseball, horse racing and golf. His competitive spirit found joy not only in playing but also in following his favorite teams. Ken was always holding out hope to see his beloved Detroit Lions to finally take home a Super Bowl win. This passion for sports was only surpassed by his love for his family, whom he regarded as the cornerstone of his life.
Ken was a well-loved figure, known for his warm presence and the deep connections he forged with those around him. His departure was preceded by his beloved wife Eugenie, his mother Alice, father Bashara, and sister Denise. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his son Jason (Karen), daughter Stacy, brother Dennis (Angela) and adored grandchildren Nathan, Aidan, Isabella and many nieces and nephews.
Ken will be remembered for his unwavering support, his infectious enthusiasm for life, warmth, humor and his enduring affection for his family and friends. His life was a testament to the values of loyalty, friendship, and family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Ken.
A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 10 AM - 3 PM, with a service for sharing memories at 2 PM, at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038. A memorial luncheon will be held following the funeral home services. In honor of Ken's love of sports, if you feel inclined, please wear your favorite sports team attire.
