John "Larry" Lawrence Welch, age 79, of Clinton Township, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Larry was born July 23, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Thomas J. & Mary E. Welch.

Larry enjoyed playing cards, fishing and hunting. He often went to The Gibraltar Flea Market and Belleaire Flea Market.

Larry married the love of his life, Linda LaFrance, in 1966 and she survives. Also surviving are their children, Darrin (Renee Clark) Welch, Bobby D. Welch; his siblings, Patricia LaFrance, Dave Welch, Brenda Demo, Alan (Lisa) Welch; his sisters and brother in law, Nancy Franks, Janice Carr, Donald LaFrance, Brenda (Richard) Graves; many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Thomas Welch, Ronald Welch; and a stillborn son, Steven Welch.

A funeral service for Larry will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A visitation will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home.
