Francie Elizabeth Bojakowski

Frances “Francie” Elizabeth Bojakowski, age 86, passed away July 18, 2024. Francie was a dedicated employee of St. John Hospital – Detroit, working there for over 45 years. She enjoyed working at the hospital and was Employee of the Month. Francie enjoyed bowling and was an active member of the VFW. Most of all Francie loved spending time with her family. Loving sister of Marjory, Eileen, Suzanne, Gerald, Daniel and Anne. Proud aunt of 28 nieces and nephews and a multitude of great nieces and nephews. Francie was predeceased by her husband Jack Carrier and her husband Edmund Bojakowski, both parents James and Mary Catherine Carpenter; her siblings: Mary, her twin brothers William and James, Michael, Grace, Patrick, Jimmy, Billy, Timothy, Edward and her favorite dog Buffy. Francie will also be missed by her fur baby Bella. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Croix Hospice.

Visitation Monday, July 22, 2024, 3-8 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township. Funeral Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Please share a memory with the family on Francie's online guestbook.
