Dean Jeffery Livi, age 61, passed away August 22, 2018 in Detroit, Mi. He was born May 5, 1957, in Detroit to the late Fernando & Irene Rita (Majerowicz) Livi. He worked for 22 years as a corrections officer with the Michigan Department of Corrections MDOC MRF, a member of the Gray Dragons Motorcycle Club, an avid softball player and loved sports; the Detroit Lions, Tigers and Red Wings were a few of his favorite teams. He was a travel agent and enjoyed traveling. Dean’s favorite thing in life was his grandchildren; they brought him much pride and joy. He will be greatly missed. Dean is survived by his wife Ranier; their children, Sarah (Drew Grosso) Livi, Brandence (Sam) Phillips, Dean (Sara) Livi II; 9 grandchildren: Tiara, Danielle, August, Savannah, Maria, Brookelyn, Rebekah, Irelynn, Sofia; siblings: Carolyn, Fred, Danny (Carol), David (Helen); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Kelly; and his mother –in-law, Sarah Fowler. Family will greet friends from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday, August 30 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 3851 Prescott St., Hamtramck, MI. In State from 9:30 until time of mass. Interment following at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Twp., MI
