Her family knew Darlene to be very loving and caring. She graduated from Finney High School in Detroit in 1966. She was an avid book reader and read hundreds maybe thousands of books. She enjoyed listening and watching birds, especially the hummingbirds and the ducks that would come visit her yard. Darlene loved and cherished all of the furbabies she had throughout her entire lifetime.
Darlene was a beloved wife to Donald Wismer for 42 years; a Cherished Mother to the late Leigh (Paul) Simms, and Christopher Rohn; a Loving Grandmother to Brenden and Cody Simms; Dearest sister to the late Nancy and Charles, and Aunt to the late Brad DuBois.
A visitation for Darlene will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
A Funeral Service will occur on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
Darlene will be laid to rest immediately following her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Christian Memorial Gardens West, 521 E. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
