Margaret A Isakson

She was born on January 3, 1932, in Meriden, Connecticut and was the daughter of August and Margaret Soltesz Meyer. Margaret was a funny and loving mother, taking care of her five children and husband Rolf.

Margaret is survived by her five children: Sons Karl Isakson of NC, Blaine and wife Debbie Isakson of FL and Wayde Isakson of CT. Daughters, Randy Puska of Killingworth, CT and Rhonda Isakson of Old Saybrook, CT. She’s also survived by two grandchildren, Bryce Skeels of Old Saybrook, CT and Gary Isakson of VA, and her sister Jane Bertrand of North Branford, CT.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 15th from 10am to 12:30pm at the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main St., Clinton, CT, followed by a funeral service at The Killingworth Congregational Church, 273 Route 81, Killingworth, CT at 1pm. Burial to immediately follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Killingworth. A celebration of life after gathering will be held at the Killingworth Congregational Church following all services.
