Edward F. Hayash Jr.

Edward F. Hayash Jr., 76 of Killingworth, passed away March 5, 2012. He was born September 18, 1935 in Philadelphia to the late Edward Sr. and Lillian (Walsh) Hayash. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Louise (Lipset) Hayash and children; Edward “Ted” Hayash III and his wife Ersi Danou of Los Angeles, Jeffery Hayash and his wife Kim (Parent) Hayash of Middletown, Susan Hayash and her husband, Tom Manor of Alexandria, VA. Edward is also survived by three grandchildren, Andreas, Carter, and Zoe Hayash and a sister, Joan Patarcity and her husband, Adam. He attended LaSalle University and received his Masters from the University of New Haven. Edward was a chemical engineer and a member of the American Chemical Society. He was a charter member of the Killingworth Lions Club, served on the Planning and Zoning Board, Housing Partnership Committee, and was a former school board member, all in Killingworth. He was an avid softball player for 40 years.
