Barbara (Bobbie) Mullin, age 83, died in her home in Clinton, CT on Thursday, November 27th. Barbara was born in Worcester, MA on May 8, 1931 and lived in Clinton for the last 43 years. She joins her late husband Francis I. Mullin, Jr., who died in 1987.
She grew up in both New Braintree, MA and on the south shore of Long Island. She attended Hannah More Academy in Reisterstown, Maryland and graduated from Pine Manor Junior College in Wellesley, MA.
Barbara and her husband were both active members of The Church of the Holy Advent in Clinton, CT as well as the Humane Society and the ASPCA.
Barbara enjoyed caring for her beloved animals, including her loving dog Cornelia who provided loyal companionship and comfort in her later years.
She will be most remembered around town for her sense of humor and love for animals.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her two sons and her daughter:
Timothy Mullin and his wife Ana Mullin of Mansfield, MA, William Mullin and his partner Philip Spletzer Jr. of Hoboken, NJ, and Jennifer Emma and her husband Daniel Emma of Delafield, Wisconsin.
She will be missed dearly by her five grandchildren David, Sarah, Grace, Dylan and Leo. And her granddog, Guffman.
She also leaves behind a niece, Barbara Gile of Nashua, NH and a nephew David Howe of Concord, NH.
