Can't forget the time him and the guys came to Santa Cruz.  It was an unforgettable visit and great time on our journey! 

It is now several days without Ron.....
The service/memorial that we shared with so many really good friends and family for this "big" man was one of the most beautiful we have ever experienced.  He will be  missed by all.
....If you needed to have your car fixed, if you needed a part, if you needed to take a "speeding ticket" to someone....just to be sure it was legitimate, :-)....if you needed a muffler, brakes, windshield wipers, carpeting, a special mirror,,,,ANYTHING, you could call Ron.  If you needed a really good car for your teenager, if you needed someone to stay with your teenage kids while you were out of the country,  if you just needed to get caught up on friends you hadn't seen in years....all you had to do was ask Ron.
We are so grateful for the love he showed our kids over all these years.  He loved our entire family, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers.  
Yes, we will miss him but we have a treasure chest of memories to carry us through this life until we meet again.

To say Ron was loved would be an understatement.  He truly left an impression with everyone he met.  You definitely new where he stood.  Mostly because he would let you know, like it or not.  As for me Ron was a true friend and I will miss him dearly.  We went to school together, worked at two jobs together, he was in our wedding, we just hung out together. I always knew I could depend on him.  If he told you he would do something you know he would.  I will truly miss him.  It warmed my heart to see such a turn out for him.  

Extending my deepest sympathy to the Family for their loss and may they find peace and comfort with all the loving memories.

What a great loss for all of us that knew and loved Ron!!  We will all miss him but never forget him. I believe when we think of him it will be impossible  not to laugh or smile!  Ron  often preferred  to present his tough  and rough  side rather than expose his gentle, kind emotional side that he rarely  revealed. I have known and loved Ron like a brother almost my entire life. I'll never forget his big bold contagious laugh! Miss and love you honey!

It's always a cliche to say that someone was "larger than life". But when you are talking about my brother Ron he actually was.  He was a big guy with a large great smile. He had a very rough looking exterior but was kind, caring and loving to his family and friends. My brother was ALWAYS there for his family and friends when they needed him.
Ron lived his life on his terms.  He traveled to places he wanted to go to. Whether he  went with someone or alone. It always gave me a great feeling to be able to do things for him. Moving him to better seats at an Eagles concert or get him tickets to the World Series  were little things I could do for him. 
I could never do enough things for him to let him know how much he meant to me. 
My entire adult life I have always known that I was going to have to saw "goodbye" to my siblings because of our age differences. No matter how much I prepared myself it is still a very difficult thing for me.
Ron, please know how much I love you and "THANK YOU" for being the best big brother I could ever have asked for. Your memory will always be eternal.

Not sure how to begin to express the loss of my  brother.  To me he was not "Big Ron", just Ronnie.  Throughout our life we had so many wonderful times together, in Ohio and in California.  I loved his summer visits.  He got so much pleasure out of looking for the next best golf course. Every morning he would walk down to the coffee shop, sit by the ocean and have his breakfast and coffee; before long everyone in the coffee shop knew his name.  He was a different person in California, not Big Ron, just fun loving Ron.  My family and friends loved him and looked forward to his summer visits.  
Ronnie was one of the few people in my life that I could truly depend on, he knew my strengths and my weaknesses. Sometimes I didn't even have to tell him how I felt, he just knew.  We shared the same sense of humor and in the worst situations we would laugh inappropriately, which often caused raised eyebrows.  
Not many people know what a really soft heart he had, just like our dad. If I thought I was going to cry he would say," don't look at me Linda, or I will cry too".   He was a loyal friend, great dad, loving grandfather, crazy uncle, serious golfer, and a loved but sometimes difficult brother.  He liked to make a joke of things,  was a tough guy with a big laugh, smile and heart,  a bit of a trouble maker,  very controlling and could sometimes look and talk to you like you were an idiot .....we loved him anyway.   Ronnie was also very sensitive; forgiveness did not come easy for him.  In his later years he began to realized the importance of kindness, especially when your life depended on it; he also began to be forgiving.. but just a little!   
I wish, just once more, I could pick up the phone and hear his booming voice say  "it's your brother, what's up".   My heart aches and I will miss him more than I can say.  Rest in Peace dear Ronnie!  I love, love, love you.  Your sister, Linda

I just heard last evening that Ron has left us. I've never lost a sibling so I have no words. I thought the world of Ronnie. I'm going to miss his gruff voice, his big booming laugh and his great smile. He was a man's man, a good worker and a better golfer than me. I am truly sadden by his loss, he is all of our loss. May the big guy RIP.
