Roberto Colon Jr.

A visitation for Roberto will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102. A visitation will occur Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102. A funeral service will occur Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM.

Roberto Colón Jr born December 15, 2004 was the loving son of Jessica Gomez and Roberto Sr. He was the admired and compassionate brother of Eduardo.

Roberto was always such a happy, pure hearted, loving and compassionate soul. He put everyone's needs before his own. He was always one that you could count on! Roberto would light up the darkest room with his presence.

Roberto attended Metro Catholic from grades K-8 where he played basketball, art class and participated in extra events. Roberto loved to cook, bake from scratch and was excellent doing it and he gained a passion for photography. Roberto called himself a steak aficionado. He loved cooking different cuts and would bring me knowledge.

Roberto decided that he would attend Holy Name High School. During his Sophomore yr and the pandemic Roberto would encounter what would be one of the hardest battles that even an adult couldn't handle. He would undergo an emergency brain surgery followed by chemo, radiation and back again.

Despite all the horrific obstacles thrown his way, my beautiful, pure hearted loving boy was determined that nothing or no one would stop him from graduating.

He enjoyed life and promised me to never think negative and that he would let me carry the hurt and weight of his problems. My boy did exactly that! Roberto attended Home Coming, Prom and on May 25, 2023 My Warrior of a son walked down that isle and got his Diploma.

During this journey Roberto was blessed to not encounter much of any pain. So many times we heard even from doctors that he did not look like he has cancer and that was a blessing.

Roberto also known as Nene, Kikilito, and especially Lito was survived by His mother Jessica Gomez (Tim Howard), father Roberto Colón, brother Eduardo (Jasmine, Alexandria and Tim jr), The Grandson of Orlando Gomez, Jannette Rentas (Jorge), Efrain Colon and Daisy Feliciano. The nephew of Kimberly Gomez (Luis), Orlando Gomez Jr (Wanda), Pedro Gomez, Wilfredo Gomez (Cristina), Edwin Gomez (Lisa), Ruben Gomez (Giselle), Abigail Ramos, Efrain Colon jr and Delia Colon. Godson to Iris and Jose Rivera and cousin to many.
