John Williams was born September 10, 1937, to the union of Essie D.
Donaldson and Simpson Williams in Mason, Tennessee. He relocated to
Cleveland, OH with his family later in life.
John accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Sinai
Missionary Baptist Church.
John’s career history includes Cleveland Hopkins International Airport,
Hough Bakery, Ferro Corporation and Cleveland State University. He
loved serving as an usher at Bethany Christian Church, being a part of the
Brotherhood of Masons (Master Mason), running marathons and spending
precious moments with his family and friends.
John Williams departed this life on Thursday November 4, 2021. He was
preceded in death by two brothers Willie Frank Williams, James Auther
Williams and six sisters Maude Scott, Susie Bea Jones, Estella Richardson,
Lucy Bell Blade, Ida Lee Williams and Dorothy Bea Jackson.
John leaves to cherish his memory, Dorothy Mae Williams, four daughters
Annette Hall, Ermma Hall, Selena Hall, Terry Hall and four sons Keyth
Williams, Larry Williams, Chester Williams, DWayne Williams; brother
Roosevelt Williams (JoAnn) and sister Rosie Lee Smith (John); He also
leaves behind twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren,
eight great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
