Eloise Pierce (nee: Carroll), lovingly called “Baby Sister” was born On October 5, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to Eloise Cummings and Alfred Carroll. Both preceded her in death. Her siblings, Maxine Taylor McCullough, Mary Ann Taylor Williams, Marion Taylor and Lou Francis Carroll also preceded her in death. She was married to Moses Griffin, who also preceded her in death.
She was educated in the Cleveland Public School System. She received her diploma from Cuyahoga Community College. Eloise attended various churches seeking her spiritual path.
Eloise favorite pastimes included shopping, cooking and trying new recipes. She spent most of her time watching black and white movies. She was civically engaged up until her later years. Every election she would go to the board of elections and sign up to be a poll worker.
Eloise loved her family and friends. If she had it to give it was yours. Eloise was no push over, she would tell you exactly how she felt.
Eloise was called to be with the Lord, August 30, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memory: her only daughter, Tracy Pierce of St. Petersburg, Florida; Five grandchildren: Alfred Pierce, Stan Jones(TyKeyma), Cameron Pierce(Neaira), William Wesley and De’Asia Hill; Five great grandchildren: Ty’ley Jones, Sevyn Jones, Caiden Pierce, Canai Pierce and Mel’lori Hill; Two sisters: Naomi Carroll(Kenneth) and Kimberly Abernathy; one brother-in-law: Frank McCullough of Detroit, Michigan; close nieces: Weddie Sojourney(William) of Cleveland, Ohio, Lydia and Mary McCullough of Detroit, Michigan; close nephews: Ivery Carroll(Tequila), Maurice and Charles Williams, all from Cleveland, Ohio, Franco McCullough(Chizuko) of Dublin, Ohio, Emmitt and Terrance McCullough(Shawn) of Detroit, Michigan and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
